Check-in

Wherever you enter, please find your way to the 1st floor for the VBSR check-in table in the lobby. You will be treated to a sweet treat from Birnn Chocolates of Vermont for completing this important step!

Bring an ID! Hotel Champlain will check IDs for everyone at the bar during the After Party.

Please note: You must purchase your ticket ahead of time and claim your nametag upon arrival. We are not prepared to sell tickets onsite.

Food Drive

In keeping with the mission of Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility, we are hosting a food drive to support Feeding Champlain Valley—and we’d love your help! If you’re attending, please consider bringing a donation. Your support will directly benefit local individuals and families facing food insecurity. Thank you for helping make a positive impact in our community. Items currently in high need include:

  • Canned proteins (chicken, beef, etc.)

  • Peanut butter

  • Cereals and oatmeal

  • Canned fruits and vegetables

  • Pasta and pasta sauce

  • Rice

  • Shelf-stable juice and milk

  • Toiletry items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, menstrual hygiene products, etc.)

  • Diapers, baby food and formula

  • Cooking oils and spices

Please drop off your donations next to the check-in desk!

Location

Parking & Getting There

The Downtown Parking Garage (60 College Street) is operated by the City of Burlington and

is located behind the hotel. The height of the garage if 6.5 feet. The garage offers an elevator to the 3rd level which has a ramp that leads directly to Hotel Champlain's 2nd floor mezzanine. You can enter through either 60 Battery Street or 60 College Street. 

If you have trouble finding a parking spot, check out the 4th floor connection to the neighboring parking garage for more spots!

You can pay for parking via the ParkMobile App or the Kiosk that is just outside the hotel entrance, in the parking garage. The first two hours are free, up to 4 hours is $4, and 8 hours is $8.

Accessible parking is available on the 3rd floor of the Downtown Parking Garage leading to the ramp that connects to Hotel Champlain. Elevators are available in the building as well.​

There are 4 EV Charging Stations available in the Downtown Parking Garage, on a first come, first served basis.​​

Oversized vehicle parking is available on College Street, located on the south side of hotel.​​​

If you are able to carpool, we encourage you to do so via our carpool coordination spreadsheet.

You can also get to Hotel Champlain by bus through Green Mountain Transit! There are two bus stops nearby: 'Battery Street at College Street' and 'Battery Street at Cherry Street' on the City Loop.

Restrooms & Lactation Pod

Follow signs for restrooms throughout the building. Mamava has generously provided a pop-up lactation pod for this event! Checkout the location on the map.

Exhibitor Hall Experiences

Find your way to the Green Mountain Ballroom to experience the Exhibitor Hall with friendly faces, swag, and fun! ​Swing by for a chance to test out a new workout machine from Concept2, receive a free 1:1 financial planning consultation from Mascoma Wealth Management, check out a "banned books" pop-up from Phoenix Books, and meet our 50+ incredible exhibitors! Learn more here. 

Exhibitor Hall Bingo: Pickup a bingo card at the check-in desk, visit the Exhibitor Hall to check off the experiences on your card until you get BINGO! Leave your card at the check-in desk (with your name and contact information included) to be entered into a drawing for a FREE ticket to the conference in 2027! 

Photo Booth​​: Stop by the photo booth for a fun photo with your team! Props and camera will be provided.

FREE Coconuts: Pay a visit to The Coco Bar outside of the Exhibitor Hall to enjoy a FREE coconut, complete with a straw and ready to enjoy! You will also have a chance to connect with Prince Awhaitey as he shares his training and knowledge about the nutritional benefits of the coconut and how nutrition can help you to achieve your goals!

BIPOC Affinity Space with Vermont Professionals of Color

​Enjoy refreshments and a mental break in an affinity space hosted by the Vermont Professionals of Color Network for those who identify as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color. Follow signs from the lobby to find the BIPOC Affinity Space on the 2nd floor in the Lake Breeze Suite! This space will be open from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. 

Workshop Rooms 

Please note that although we will have much larger meeting rooms this year, depending on the popularity of each session, we may have limited capacity in some instances. Thus all sessions will be available on a first come, first serve basis. 

Adirondack Ballroom: The Adirondack Ballroom is on the first floor down the hall from the check-in table. It will host three sessions on our main stage in addition to the Welcoming Remarks and Keynote Address. Seating in the Reef Room is limited to 475 attendees, so seating will be available on a first come, first served basis. ​​

Montpelier Ballroom: The Montpelier Ballroom is on the first floor down the hall from the check-in table. We will have three sessions in this room throughout the day. 

Lake Champlain Conference Room: The Lake Champlain Conference Room is located on the second floor mezzanine, accessible by stairs or elevators via the central lobby. We will have three sessions in this room throughout the day.

Vermont Conference Room: The Vermont Conference Room is located on the second floor mezzanine, accessible by stairs or elevator via the central lobby. We will have three sessions in this room throughout the day. 

Food & Drinks

Gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options will be available. You will be served lunch and light appetizers at the After Party. Please note, we will not have breakfast at this event. Plan ahead!

We encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle and/or coffee cup to help us make this a low waste event. 

You can purchase coffee, lattes, tea, baked goods, and sandwiches at the Lily May's Café from 6:30 AM - 1:30 PM on the 2nd floor Mezzanine. 

Coffee: Complimentary coffee and tea will be available inside the Exhibitor Hall and also at the entrance of the Adirondack Ballroom from 8:00 AM - 10:45 AM.

Lunch Break​: 

Lunch is included for all attendees! For your convenience, we will have two lunch stations: 

  • 1st floor in between the Adirondack Ballroom and the Montpelier Ballroom

  • 2nd floor in between the Lake Champlain Conference Room and the Vermont Conference Room

Served buffet style with build-your-own power bowls including, mixed green, quinoa, tofu, grilled chicken, hard-boiled eggs, cherry tomatoes, red onions, sweet peppers, chickpeas, roasted carrots, charred broccoli, cilantro, crunchy noodles, pumpkin seeds, cilantro and dressing. Plus a cookie for good measure! 

After Party: 

Celebrate the end of an inspiring day with a raffle drawing for a FREE ticket to the 2027 conference, connections new and old, locally sourced appetizers, a cash bar including delicious beer, wine, Maple Old Fashions, Springtime Margaritas, and non-alcoholic options! We will also be treated to an oyster bar generously donated by the Original Skiff!
